I consider this fish as the tastiest among all available in Pakistan. This fish belongs to the family of Carp which are traditionally considered as tasty and full of nutrition. Mahsheer is quite big in size and also has a big mouth. This fish resides in fresh waters like rivers or big streams and it travels against the flow of the water. 
 There are few other fishes of the same family
like Rohu and Selmon and they are equally rich in nutrition but Mahsheer has the different taste that makes it superior. This fish is highly protein rich and it helps increasing the effieicncy of Immune system of human body as well as in regulating blood sugar in the body. 
 This fish is best when deep fried after proper marination. If you don’t know the recipe then don’t try this at home because it will be disrespect for a fish like Mahsheer. There is one very beautiful place where you can enjoy the real Mahsheer. If you are in Islamabad, just take out your car accompany with some friend and drive about 60 minutes and you will reach Hasan abdal, enjoy the fish over there, believe me you will not regret after this drive
